Loyalty Before Royalty
Loyalty before royalty is something hard to come by, and seems even harder as the seasons pass. Today, it does not seem that people really care as much as they did way back when when people took care of each other in the communities and made sure you were good no matter what. They were proud to stand by your side, even through your differences, and by any means necessary it was important to give a hand up.
Now a days, it seems that if a person feels that you are not good enough for them anymore they disappear. It does not seem to matter if you stood by their side during their tough times. It is like time you need the slightest help in whatever arena you need help in and you go to look for your so called friends or family, they are no longer available, or do not want to be "bothered" with you. It is like they abandon you.
This can hurt ones spirit so bad that it seems to almost kill. But I'd like to share from personal experience with you that you need to keep your head held up and keep pushing forward. Every one is not for you no matter how close you are or were to them. No one owes you anything, but yourself so you have to disregard when someone who seemed loyal to you turns on you. God has strategically placed people in your life for a season, reason, or lifetime. You really do not have to guess if someone is in your life for a short time or a long time. Time will always tell you what you need to know.
When you find out someone is against you, do not treat them the way they have treated you. Keep a smile on your face and just love them from a distance. Believe in yourself and others have no room in letting you down. As long as you know that God has your back, no one else matters. He will bless you with the people that will genuinely be there for you and always be true to you and will always be in your corner.
While my friends are not even a hand full, I'm grateful for them because they ring to be loyal no matter what. It used to bother me because others would stop dealing with me. But I have come to learn that it does not matter. Their purpose was fulfilled and it is time for them to "disappear". I will probably blog on this more as it has been a very big lesson in my life. Have you learned this lesson yet? Are you still learning this lesson? Do you think you are even about to go through this lesson right now? Share your feelings, opinions, and thoughts on this subject.
~A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
