Around for too long

I will admit, I'm the one who is sooooo bad with this. There are times that there are people that do not even deserve my time, energy, or presence that I allow in. It can be very crippling and instead you wish, hope, and pray that something good will eventually come out of it. The major eye opener was me befriending someone who pretended to be my friend to my face, but lo and behold, behind my back I was never good enough for anything or anybody. She would speak a great game about how she was only trying to be a real friend and "help me out" when in reality she was only trying to stroke her own sick and demented ego. Her "helping me" only really hurt me, but at the same time it made me stronger. Most times people have a sole purpose in your life and it's up to you to pray for that discerning spirit to show you what exactly is that purpose, or if you are the purpose in their life in order to better them in some manner. Whose Truth?

With the political elections right around the corner it is a lot being said about truths and lies. While most of the voting people I know will be voting for Obama, some will be casting their vote for Mitt. Both believe that their candidate has the most truth about them. For example, those going for Obama does not believe that Mitt will be the best one because they feel he's full of lies from the beginning to the end. They feel that being that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth that he could not possibly know the truth of the people as a whole because most of us were not born into wealth and that most of us are struggling so that he could not know our truth. Those that are voting for Obama feel that he has more truth because he knows the struggle we go through and that if he just gets a little more time then he can definitely fix what was messed up in 8 years.
