Motivation
One of the hardest things for me to do is to motivate myself when it comes to exercising. I absolutely loathe the experience and the results do not come as quick as I would like for it to. My health is on the line, so I have to. It really is do or die, and Lord knows I am no ways near ready to go yet. I have too many things to do.
But finding this self-motivation just to get up and go at it, does not come easy for me. I will think of any excuse not to work out. I have come to the conclusion though, that I just have to do it. Just like Nike... Just do it. I have found not thinking about it and just going for it makes it a lot easier on me. I have found that doing things in intervals also helps a lot. Also when I count, I only count to ten. I think counting up makes me feel like I am just doing too much. But what I have also found that counting to ten makes it easier for me to reach my goal a lot faster.
The mind is a very tricky thing. So if you are having troubles keeping yourself motivated in anything, just remember that you have to just find what trick would best work for your mind and go with it. I psyche my mind out all of the time just to get a goal accomplished, even with typing up these blogs. I get them done though.
Also, before I go, another great way to get yourself motivated in what you are trying to do is publicize it. Putting yourself on blast will keep you motivated enough, because now you have other people that are looking and waiting on your results to see if they want to follow suit. Anyway you can just do not give up and keep it moving. You will be satisfied with the outcome. And do not wait until the new year to become the new you. The new year is not promised, so the sooner the better it is just to get yourself growing.
